Guerılla Marketıng From Socıal Medıa Perspectıve And A Research

Abstract

In the research, it has been analyzed the guerilla marketing activities by connecting the social media and the concept of guerilla marketing in social media platforms. The target of the study is to clarify the connection between the social media and guerilla marketing and the situation of businesses using social media while realizing the guerilla marketing methods. Guerrilla marketing activities in the social media accounts of the institutions were analyzed using the semiotics technique. As a result, it is seen that social media platforms are important platforms that can bring marketing activities economically to many people but it is not used intensely despite all the advantages. It has been found that although they provide opportunities for businesses with limited budgets, they cannot evaluate them as much as they can afford, and also it has been found that in the publication of guerrilla marketing activities, social media platforms are used more frequently by large-scale businesses that market their products all over the international arena.
