Creative Commons copyright licenses and tools establish a balance within the traditional "all rights reserved" framework established by law.

The copyright policy of our journal is as follows:

  1. No registration is required for copyright. Rights to intellectual and artistic works are established upon the creation of the work. Copyrights are abstract in nature; they are intangible assets created by human thought and protected by law. They possess independent legal value.
  2. The principle of territoriality applies to copyrights. Protection conditions are determined according to the legislation of the country in which protection is requested.
  3. Copyrights are absolute rights. They can be asserted against everyone. However, certain limitations are imposed on these absolute rights for reasons such as the protection of public interest. These limitations consist of restrictions regarding public order, general morality, and exceptions for private interest (e.g., personal use). For instance, a work may be reproduced for private, non-profit use.
  4. Intellectual property rights are protected for a specific period (e.g., 70 years for intellectual and artistic works). Intellectual products hold a separate and independent legal status.
  5. Intellectual products are regulated within the framework of specific laws and regulations.

Nevertheless, users may refer to the published full texts of the articles.

Violation of copyrights is a criminal offense as defined under the relevant articles of the Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works No. 5846.
