ARTICLE PUBLISHING RULES
Journal of Aksaray Communication, which is an academic and peer - reviewed journal, reviews about communication sciences, research articles, theoretical and theoretical articles, book presentation, etc. Journal is published two times a year, in January and July.

Articles sent to journal for publication should not have been published anywhere before or sent elsewhere for publication. The presentation of the article in the form of a paper at a congress, symposium or meeting is not an obstacle for publication.
Articles are published with the positive report of at least two referees.

The language of the journal is Turkish and English. In addition, the publication of articles written in any of the German, Russian, Arabic, Persian and French languages is subject to the decision of the editorial board.

The articles submitted to the journal for publication must be arranged in accordance with the journal rules, membership procedures should be done on the journal web page and submissions should be made from this membership page.

All legal responsibilities of the articles sent to the journal belong to the authors. The journal does not accept any responsibility.

All copyrights of the published articles belong to Journal of Aksaray Communication. Additionally, no royalties are paid to authors.

Articles submitted for publication must be prepared in accordance with academic writing rules.

All developments and results in the article process are reported to the author who sent the article online. Successful articles prepared in accordance with the principles of Scientific Research Methods can also be published with the decision of the editor.

The article sent to Journal of Aksaray Communication for publication is first reviewed by the editor, then submitted for the opinion of the editorial board and sent to the referees for review after the positive opinion of the editorial board. Articles that have passed peer-reviews and whose necessary deficiencies have been corrected by the author are placed in the order of publication and then published.
Since the review process of the articles is carried out according to the blind referee technique, any information about the authors or the title of the study that will reveal the author of the study will not be included in the articles to be uploaded. After the referee process of the relevant study is completed, information about the author or the study will be added. Thesis summary of the study, a presented paper etc. If there is, the editor should be informed by message.

Due to the fact that the related study has been passed by a jury in the publication of master's and doctoral thesis abstracts, it can be sent to the referee for evaluation after the review made by the editor in accordance with the scope of publication and the editorial boards. After positive evaluation, abstracts can be published.

During the submission of the article, a CV (word or pdf) should be prepared for the author or authors and uploaded to the additional files section.

WRITING RULES

1. Journal of Aksaray Communication, research on communication sciences, thoughts, practice-based research, etc. It is an academic national/international refereed journal with qualified articles. Articles submitted to the journal are pre-evaluated by the editorial board and published with the positive report of at least two referees determined by the board.

2. Journal of Aksaray Communication is published two times a year, in January and July.

3. Manuscripts must be original products that have not been published in a media or not yet in the publication stage. The presentation of the article in the form of a paper at a congress, symposium or meeting is not an obstacle for publication. Studies produced from master's and doctoral theses are included.

4. Our journal's writing style is Palatino Linotype. It is important that all studies to be sent to our journal are sent using the Article Template. The title of the article should be written at the beginning of the first page with only the first letters of the word capitalized, in bold and centered with Palatino Linotype writing style, 12 points. The name of the author should not be included in the article submission process. After the article is accepted, the name of the author should be written as a footnote (for example, Nezahat ALTUNTAŞ DUMAN), just below the title, aligned to the right, in 12 font size; If there is more than one author, their names should be written one under the other and the sequence numbers should follow each other. In addition, the academic title, post and e-mail address of the author or authors should be indicated at the bottom of the page in 9 font size as a footnote. (For example; Research Assistant Aksaray University Faculty of Communication, efenumancan@aksaray.edu.tr)

5. Manuscripts should be written only on one side of A4 size paper, with the abstract and main text in 12-point lettering and as a word document in Palatino Linotype font. Manuscripts to be sent to the journal should be written using MS Word Program, with 1 line spacing. There should be spaces of 2.5 cm each on the top, bottom, left and right sides of the page. There should be extra space (spacing/after/0.6nk) between paragraphs in the 0.6 spacing.

6. Authors must become a member by logging into the system at https://dergipark.org.tr/aid. They are required to submit their studies through the system on this page.

7. The title and post of the authors should be indicated in the footnote.

8. Manuscripts, including abstracts, should be a minimum of 3500 words and a maximum of 10,000 words.

9. The articles that have been decided to be published are presented as pdf on the journal web page.

10. The responsibility of the articles (primity in the publication, accuracy of the source, opinions put forward, etc.) within the specified principles belongs to the author.

11. All copyrights of the published articles belong to Journal of Aksaray Communication.
12. Articles should contain Turkish and English abstracts not exceeding 300 words, and keywords should be placed under the abstract.

13. It is appropriate for the study to follow the following order: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Title in Foreign Language, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Main Text, Conclusion and References.

14. The 6th edition of APA (American Psychological Association), which is the method of referencing the text, should be used for referencing. In both the citations and the bibliography part, the authors should follow the spelling rules and format specified in the American Psychological Association Publication Guide published by the American Psychological Association.



CITATIONS

1. Citations should be given in the main text by writing author surnames, dates and page numbers: (Aktan, 1996, p. 45) or (Kalender and Özodaşık, 1997, p. 63).

2. If there are more than two authors, the phrase “et al.” should be used after the surname of the first author: (Campbell et al., 1960, p. 28).

3. Citations to more than one publication at the same time all publications should be separated by semicolons: (Fiske, 1996, s. 72; Bostancı, 1995, s. 121; Bon, 1979, s. 3)

4. Only the references cited in the main text should be included in the bibliography and should be in alphabetical order according to the surname of the author.

5. If more than one sources of the same author is to be cited at the same time, it should be sorted from oldest to newest according to publication date. For studies made in the same year, the phrases "a, b, c..." should be used and they should be the same for references made in the text.

6. The way of specifying the studies in the bibliography should be as follows.
